The Vatel-Club Luxembourg asbl - Amitié gastronomique François Vatel is the association of professional cooks of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The purpose of the association is to bring together all professional cooks. Its goal is the defense of the interests of its members and the safeguard of the Culinary Art by the appropriate means, the encouragement and the motivation of young cooks to persevere in the profession, to promote the interest in the profession by the organization. national and international culinary competitions and to participate adequately in these competitions, to represent the profession of cook and the Culinary Art towards the general public.
The competition to be highlighted is in particular the Culinary World Cup organized by Vatel-Club Luxembourg as part of EXPOGAST , a culinary fair, which is held every 4 years in Luxembourg.
Vatel-Club Luxembourg not only allows national and junior teams to participate in national competitions as well as international competitions.
