What you will be doing:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Replenish the in-room refreshment centers
  • Deliver amenities to guest rooms
  • Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Follow company policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Assist in the summer months as pool attendant in maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for guests
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Your experience and skills include:

  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.
  • Previous experience in F&B in a hotel an asset
  • Of legal age to serve alcohol if required to
  • Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and proven ability in time management
  • Previous point of sale system experience an asset
  • Computer literacy required
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and without supervision
  • Ability to multi task and work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

 

Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to:

  • Exert physical effort in carrying up to 40lbs, and pushing up to 50 lbs
  • Ensure various physical movements throughout the work areas
  • Reach 1-2 feet
  • Remain in stationary position for 6-8 hours throughout the shift
  • Walking, occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Frequent lifting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time in high temperatures

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.
