About the job

Job Description
  • Contribute to the Guest’s Total Satisfaction and food revenue achievement of the hotel.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and materials in his work area.
  • Control the hygiene in his work areas, equipment and materials.
  • Check the consumption of the ordered goods.
  • Control the cost of his production.
  • Maintain the food cost mentioned by the Executive Chef.
  • Develop positive attitude on his/her workstation as job skills, knowledge and creativity of the staff.
  • Provide them the basis of working knowledge of Pastry in a kitchen in order to increase their qualification and culinary knowledge.
  • Respect the needs and individuality of the staff
  • Develop their self-confidence
  • Training of the staff in bakery skills
  • Control the daily operation of the workstation.
  • Develop kitchen staffs’ skills on delegation.
  • Work and communicate closely with the Executive and Sous Chef

Work Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or equivalent at five star Luxury Brands
  • Experience in fine dining environment, healthy and vegetarian food and Patissery
  • Extremely creative with strong service skills and demonstrated ability to energize a diverse team of culinary professionals
  • Effective Leadership & Time Management skills
