About the job
Gain F&B experience in the heart of New Orleans! Located just a few blocks from world-renowned Bourbon Street, you'll train at one of New Orleans's finest hotels! For your program, you'll train as Outlets Host/Greeter, Barista, and Outlets Server!
On your days off visit the many historical Museums, such as the Vodoo Museum or the National WWII Museum. Take a trip to the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, the French Quarter, or simply take a tour around town!
Salary:
Host/Greeter: $16/hr + tips
Server: $5/hr + tips
Barista: $11/hr + tips
Benefits:
Chef coat provided, bring chef pants, non-slip shoes, own knives. The employee break room is available as well. You will begin to accrue PTO as soon as you start but will not be able to use it until after 90 days. The hotel does not provide pick up from the airport. Suggested to use public transit or Uber/Lyft. The hotel will provide complimentary housing in the hotel upon arrival based upon occupancy and provide an apartment with roommates for the cost of $500 per month.

In these positions, you will receive a base hourly salary plus gratuity (tips). While the amount of a gratuity is ultimately at the discretion of the guest, the customary tip is 15- 20% of the total bill before tax. Based on history, you may expect to earn around $48 per hour for Host/Greeter, $15 an hour for Server, and $33 an hour for Barista.

About you
Eligibility criteria for our Career USA programs:
- You are enrolled in a post secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR have a hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR have 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA
- You have shown consistent career growth over the last years
- You have shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
- Language required: English.
