Job Title

Director of Sales & Account Management - South Texas Region

The Director of Sales and Account Management – South Texas Region will be responsible for customer retention and driving the growth of all Amadeus Hospitality solutions in our South Texas market. The position is remote but the ideal candidate will be based close to major markets of either Houston, Austin or San Antonio.  

In this role you will:

  • Build deep, strategic relationships across the customer organization
  • Ensure customer's holistic understanding and applicability of all Amadeus Hospitality suite of solutions and how they work together
  • Focus on continued penetration of territory prospects by acquiring new customers across all Amadeus Hospitality solutions
  • Ensure annual renewals/retention and new business targets across assigned accounts are achieved
  • Create strategic account development plans, incorporating our customers annual goals
  • Create opportunities via consultative sales and relationships throughout customer organization including C-level 
  • Lead campaign development and follow-up
  • Work with your Product Specialists to manage opportunity identification, proposal development, price quote and negotiation through closing the sale
  • Execute locally on corporate endorsements with customer base
  • Create and maintain strong internal relationships with Amadeus key stakeholders and engage the right team members to prospect through closing the sale
  • Build necessary pipeline to meet assigned KPIs and sales goals
  • Support customer through the implementation process
  • Work with internal partners to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, owning the overall renewal process
  • Represent Amadeus in the local market via involvement in local industry associations and speaking engagements
  • Work with Finance partners on Accounts Receivable/cash collection compliance
  • Work with your Customer Success Management Team for customer Quarterly Business Reviews and to ensure your customer is achieving optimal value of Amadeus solutions.


About the ideal candidate:

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience within tech, marketing, hospitality or BI sales

  • 5+ years of experience In Sales or Sales Leadership within the Hospitality Industry preferred
  • Ability to influence senior level executives
  • Strong presentation/communication skills
  • History of sales over-achievement and creating a collaborative environment
  • High energy and passionate
  • Strong people skills and the ability to adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and gain the trust and respect of prospects, customers, colleagues and team members
  • Amadeus solutions experience and/or tech sales experience preferred
  • Strong network within South Texas Hospitality preferred
  • Competent in Salesforce or similar CRM
