The management of the Atlanta Marriott Norcross feels that each employee in the Food and Beverage department should be familiar with all aspects of the operation due to the ever-changing nature of the hospitality business. Therefore, the intern will be required to cross-train in each outlet and should expect that a traditional rotation from one department to another will occur exactly as scheduled. However, over the course of the training program, the intern will be exposed to each department listed for the approximate amount of time.
As Server in the Restaurant you will earn $10.00 an hour + tips which will total approximately $15.00 per hour based on 40 hour work week. As Room Service Server you will earn $10.00 per hour plus tips (approximately $12-$15 per hour). As Banquets Server or set-up person you will earn $15 per hour with no additional tips. As a restaurant supervisor you will earn $16 per hour.
After three (3) months of continuous service, holiday pay is offered (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day). Benefits also include free uniforms, discounted room nights in Crestline Hotels and Resorts, and one complimentary meal per day during your shift.
Host company provides 30 days of accommodations based on occupancy. Please reach out to HR before arriving to confirm accommodations. After this time period, it is the candidate's responsibility to find housing.
