At Derby Hotels Collection, we are currently looking for a Regional Sales & Marketing Coordinator. The role is part of the London Regional Sales Office for Derby Hotels Collection, which represents and sells the DHC brand and entire portfolio of properties, operating from the UK & Ireland Region but selling Worldwide across all market segments. In addition, its focus and responsibility is to drive and develop sales & marketing for The Caesar 4* Hotel.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has an interest in international sales & marketing processes, administration and business development in the luxury and lifestyle hotel sector. The London Sales team is currently comprised of the DOSM and a Regional Sales Executive reporting to the Group Director of Sales & Communications, based in Barcelona head office.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY FUNCTIONS
- Maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, clients, company partners, DHC offices, property-based teams, hotels guests, the different representation & distribution companies we work with.
- Assist with preparation of: production reports, data analysis, promotions and partnership initiatives, client prospecting, internal and external communication, tailored client presentations, marketing and giveaways kits, VIP clients coordination, development of marketing materials and content as required, site Inspections, etc.
- Assist the Director of Sales with all Luxury Travel Sales accounts and prospective ones.
- Work with the Director of Sales in all the Contracting process across all Segments.
- Overall support with preparations for sales trips, client familiarisation initiatives, interaction and collaborations with our Partners, and other S&M activities as required.
- Research and analysis of target accounts, market trends, competitor activity, etc.
- Support with Sales Accounts Management and Business Development.
- Key support with an array of internal and external procedures such as processing RFPs, rates loading process, negotiations announcements, completion of clients RFI (Request for Information), issuing of Production Reports (internal and external), completion of Timesheets, companies credit application forms, etc.
- Work jointly with the Regional Sales Executive in sales prospecting, sales missions and projects in general.
- Administration of PMS and CRM. Logging in new accounts, processing tasks, logging of Contracts.
- Responsible for database management.
- Key support and lead interface between DHC S&M – Client/Partner – DHC Rev. & Distrib. teams when integrating contracted hotels to Clients’ different operating systems.
- Day to day coordination of the LRSO.
- Heavy focus on Business Travel accounts and processes as well as TMC (Travel Management Companies).
- Possibility of potentially handling and managing sales accounts for the right candidate, should he/she wishes to develop further in the Sales & Communications Department.
- Attend networking events, training sessions/workshops on product & market knowledge as required.

About you

- Education and Qualifications: Hospitality, Marketing, Business or Humanities University degree required.
- A well-rounded applicant with a worldly view. Has a good work ethic.
- Be responsible, pro-active, adaptable, creative and have high standards.
- Undertake an organised and systematic approach to work. Attention to detail is essential.
- Manage time effectively.
- Able to monitor, control and follow-through on any Sales & Marketing assignments and projects.
- Impeccable English and Spanish written and oral.
- Impeccable personal presentation and communication skills.
- Understands and has knowledge of the world of luxury hospitality, current lifestyle trends, concepts and morphing brands ecosystems.
- Knowledge of and existing experience of working in the London market is essential.
- Competent in key Microsoft and Mac programmes and applications, knowledge of social online channels and be familiar with online consumer travel aggregators and OTAs.
- Recent and Current References will be required.
- Candidate must be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Languages required: Spanish and English.
