Destination: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Department: Kitchen
Program: Hospitality and Business Internship
Duration: 6 - 12 months
Intake: May, June, and July 2023
PASTRY - RESPONSIBILITIES
● Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods and pastry items for
the hotel's restaurants, cafes, banquets, and room service
● Follow recipes and pastry techniques under the guidance of the hotel's pastry
chefs
● Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a hygienic
and organized work environment
● Keep track of inventory, order supplies, and receive and inspect incoming
shipments of ingredients and supplies
● Assist with plating and garnishing desserts for service
● Help with decorating cakes and pastries for special events
● Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and creating new pastry
items
