Four Seasons Hotel Prague, a market leader in the hospitality industry is looking for a talented ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE & CULTURE to join our P&C team as a fourth member.

YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE:

A special talent and passion for people and all related HR areas. You will work closely alongside the Regional Director of People and Culture to oversee the direction of all aspects of the People and Culture division including employee relations, compensations & benefits, talent acquisition and retention of staff, learning and development, compliance and legal matters related to all employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES IN DETAIL:

  • Co-developing and implementing HR initiatives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Direct accountability for talent acquisition, employer branding, learning and development (indirect management of L&D Lead)
  • Working in tandem with P&C Director on employee engagement, compensation and benefits, and financial planning of the division.
  • Contributing to long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning and talent acquisition.
  • Co-developing and/or adherence to company wellbeing, health and counselling policies.
  • Co-creating and managing the P&C division’s annual budget.
  • Coach and mentor to managers; advisory to all staff in employment related matters.
  • Pro-active networking locally and internationally in order to keep up with the latest HR trends and best practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • University degree and/or relevant HR experience at the leadership level.
  • Communication skills – as an HR leader managing diverse personalities and viewpoints. Consequently, emotional intelligence, the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others is vital across the entire organization.
  • Commercial acumen – P&C leaders are increasingly involved in strategic decision-making within the business as an influencer. Being able to understand company finances, resourcing and the ultimate aims of the business is important.
  • Role modelling – as a senior member of the management team, Asst. P&C director is expected to demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of the organization.
  • Professional expertise – a strong working knowledge of employment law issues, best practice processes for disciplinaries, redundancies and payroll is required, as well as experience of employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the Czech and English language, another language would be an advantage.
