Four Seasons Hotel Prague is looking for a talented Bell Attendant (Guest Services Agent) to join our Front Office team.

About the Job

The Bell Attendant (Guest Services Agent) will have the opportunity to shape guest experience by providing an exceptional service by fulfilling all duties according to the Four Seasons service standards in order to ensure guest satisfaction.

About You

You will be ideally a professional who is warm, hospitable, organized, driven with a great communication style appealing to our guests and employees.  You will be a central part of the Front Office team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth and memorable experience. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high-profile department carries a special responsibility.

Job Duties in detail:

  • Maintains smooth and efficient run of daily operations in the respective areas.

  • Oversees the operations of the guest services and works closely with Front Desk and Concierge teams.

  • Provides FDM with operational recommendations.

  • Bell Attendant is stationed inside the hotel or on the front drive to greet each guest by name upon arrival and departure.

  • Transports luggage to the guest room for arrivals and transports luggage for departing guests to the hotel entrance or into the storage room.

  • Maintains proper records of deliveries and pick-ups.

  • Arranges for cars to be parked or retrieved.

  • Maintains proper records of transportation logs.

  • Stores and retrieves guest luggage and packages.

  • Greets all guests passing through the lobby and offers them assistance in all aspects, engaging with them in order to personalize the experience. Also encourages his team to do the same.

  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on an insightful local knowledge and hotel practices.

  • Occasionally fills in the position of the doorman.

  • Controls physical conditions of the back office storage and uniforms as well as equipment (trolleys, wheelchairs, strollers etc.)

  • Works closely with Front Desk and Sales Conference Executives on smooth arrivals, departures, luggage movements and deliveries for groups.

Qualifications in detail:

  • Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to multi task.

  • Excellent communication skills and command of the English language.

  • Ability to communicate in Czech language.

  • Ability to cover 12 hours shifts and couple of night shifts per month and the ability to lift and push at least 25kg.

  • Ability to use IT systems and to provide basic assistance with all systems for guests including Internet.

  • Guest centric attitude, warm welcoming smile and knowledge about the local area.

  • Flexibility in terms of scheduling and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

  • Driving license and ability to drive and park all types of cars.

  • Must have EU work authorization.

What to Expect

This position is offered for a define period of time of 12 months with a possible unlimited extend based on your performance. Your trial period will be 3 months. Feedback is a key; therefore, you will be asked to give your feedback on regular basis and you will also have an informal chat with your manager and trainer.
