Job Profile:

The ideal candidate shall provide guidance and support to all Food and Beverage team including field leaders. Managing the daily activities and monitoring the performance of the Food and Beverage management and service teams are a priority. Verifies that all related policies and standard testing are maintained throughout the outlets. Ensures that Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), is maintained. Assists the Director of Food and Beverage (F&B) in developing and managing the strategic plan for the Food and Beverage division including budget administration, forecasting, inventory, and cost control. Manages the development of the Food and Beverage outlet management team. Manages and creates Food and Beverage marketing and promotional opportunities for the outlets.

Candidate’s Education:

• 2 years diploma; 7 years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

OR

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 5 years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

People & Operation Management

  • Provides leadership, direction, coaching and discipline outlets Managers and employees ‘in Food & Beverage operations and outlets to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
  • Manages the food and beverage service annual performance reviews according to Four Seasons Standard Operating Procedures, career growth, individual development plans and training requirements.
  • Monitors employee attendance and records absences/tardiness.
  • Conducts annual performance appraisal with direct reports according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manages the daily activities, monitors the status and progress of each outlet and maintain consistency in all areas of Food and Beverage operations.  Verifies that all outlet operational policies and procedures are maintained throughout the outlets and monitors the performance of the Food and Beverage management and service teams while appraises employee's productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status.
  • Manages the development of the Food and Beverage outlet management team.
  • Manages and creates Food and Beverage marketing and promotional opportunities for the outlets to attract niche client of Amman. Keeps on researching market trends and concepts to recommend appropriate products, services, and operational changes necessary to maintain guest satisfaction.
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit.
  • The ability to be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons.
  • The ability to work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to design an effective menu and wine list while ensuring excellent product quality at a fair price.
  • Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
