Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, a market leader in the hospitality industry, is looking for a talented



A special talent and passion for people and all related HR areas. You will oversee the direction of all aspects of the People and Culture including employee relations, compensations & benefits, talent acquisition and retention of staff, learning and development, compliance and legal matters related to all employees.


  • Developing and implementing HR initiatives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Leading the P&C division, including talent acquisition, employer branding, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, talent management, HR information systems (HRIS) and financial planning of the department.
  • Liaising directly with the leadership team and being accountable for the performance of the P&C function as well as providing strategic counsel on all people matters.
  • Contributing to long-term goals around business and people development, including succession planning and talent acquisition.
  • Developing and/or adherence to company wellbeing, health and counselling policies.
  • Leading the analysis of employee feedback and data, with the aim of creating a better working environment and engaged culture.
  • Creating and managing the P&C department’s annual budget.
  • Taking oversight of the company’s culture and ensuring its local implementation.
  • Coach and mentor to managers; advisory to all staff in employment related matters.
  • Pro-active networking locally and internationally in order to keep up with the latest HR trends and best practices.

  • University degree and/or relevant HR experience at the leadership level.
  • Communication skills – as an HR leader managing diverse personalities and viewpoints. Consequently, emotional intelligence, the ability to build relationships and collaborate with others is vital across the entire organization.
  • Strong background in talent acquisition and latest Employer Branding trends
  • Commercial acumen – P&C leaders are increasingly involved in strategic decision-making within the business as an influencer. Being able to understand company finances, resourcing and the ultimate aims of the business is important.
  • Role modelling – as a senior member of the management team, P&C director is expected to demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of the organization.
  • Professional expertise – a strong working knowledge of employment law issues, best practice processes for disciplinaries, redundancies and payroll is required, as well as experience of employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the Hungarian and English languages, another language would be an advantage.
