Responsibilities

The Front Office Manager will oversee all activities of the Front Office including; Guest Services, Communications, Front Desk, Bell and Concierge.  They will act as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available.  This position is responsible for interviewing, training, scheduling, conducting performance reviews and disciplinary conversations for staff.  This position is also responsible for resolving customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. This role has direct contact with employees and guest and as such good communication skills are a necessity.  This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule, able to work morning/afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Two years of management experience within Rooms Division, preferably within a luxury hotel

• College education or equivalent experience

• Previous supervisory or management experience

• Previous experience with Opera

• Good command of the English language both verbal and written

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States
