We have an exciting opportunity as Account Director in our Americas East Worldwide Sales team. The Account Director represents Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts globally, managing group business from accounts based in D.C. and Eastern Canada, supporting hotels globally. The Account Director will work alongside each hotel and resort, while maintaining client brand relationships.

This role is reporting to the Senior Regional Director of Sales in our Americas East Worldwide Sales team working remotely within the Northeast region. This role involves interactions with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels.

Key Activities

  • Foster relationships with brand clientele in the region to maintain and grow revenue for all global hotels and resorts.
  • Work alongside hotel partners to negotiate client contract terms, to both maintain and increase business at worldwide properties.
  • Conduct virtual presentations of the Four Seasons brand for regional customers, with the goal to expand brand recognition and maintain valuable partnerships
  • Strategic prospecting of potential new customers to secure future partnerships and revenue for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.
  • Meet and exceed established room night and revenue target
  • Strategically uncover and develop new business opportunities by account rating and segment
  • Execute key account plans for A and B clients
  • Plan and execute virtual sales calls and webinars


Desired Skills

  • Recent experience with association, diplomatic and political group business
  • Strong speaking and presentation skills in both ability to create and deliver presentations in groups of 10-50 people
  • Understanding of group contract terms and conditions and ability to mediate where needed
  • Maintains relationships with clients by understanding their business and providing support, information and a consultative approach to recommending hotels for their programs
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint) and social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Strong leadership skills

Experience, Education and Professional Qualifications

  • A proven track record in group sales - consistently meeting or exceeding established revenue and activity goals
  • Solid understanding and experience of the designated market
  • 3+ years of sales experience
