The Role of Guest Relations Supervisor
As a Guest Relations Supervisor you will be reporting to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager and will support in providing supervision to the Guest Relations team. As a Guest Relations Supervisor you will further be responsible for greeting guests, identifying their needs and creating memorable and efficient guest interactions, leading the team by example. You will support in maintaining effective communication with all related departments to ensure smooth service is delivered. You will engage with hotel guests to enhance the service experience through the introduction of all hotel services and facilities (e.g., Restaurants and Bars, Spa, Concierge, etc.). You will respond to guest requests for special arrangements (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning, etc.) by making bookings or identifying appropriate providers.
Our Ideal Guest Relations Supervisor candidate will have
Exceptional communication skills, along with a high level of empathy and emotional intelligence. You will be a suggestive sale and persuasive skills champion, with the ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast paced and luxury environment. Previous experience in a supervisory guest facing role within luxury front office operations, VIP services, concierge, or equivalent will represent a benefit.

This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is seasonal. You must be open to work on a flexible schedule, weekends, and holidays. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian. A third European language would be highly appreciated.
