The Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto is looking for a top talent to join our team. We are looking for a Guest Services Captain with passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons.

Responsibilities

  • Assists guest with their arrival and departure experience; makes necessary deliveries to and pick ups from guest rooms, transports guests and hotel packages, faxes, envelopes and parcels.

  • Extends guidance and training to Guest Service staff working closely with other departments in the hotel to ensure a superior guest experience.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Greets guests and escorts them to their rooms.  Delivers luggage to room upon check-in and picks up luggage from room upon departure, moving the luggage to storage or the Front Drive. 

  • Maintains detailed records of all guest room deliveries, amenity/wedding deliveries and all necessary back up for each pay period to ensure proper payroll for bellman.

  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves complaints, assists in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. 

  • Coordinates daily activities of bellman including completion of Bellman Daily Checklist, organization of bag storage area, porterage, group arrival/departure information, cart maintenance, and weekly standards testing.

  • Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.

  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
