The role of the Banquet House Attendant

The Banquet House Attendant is responsible for the set-up, breakdown of tables, chairs, buffets, skirting, and props as specified by the banquet event order.  They will stock all necessary supplies for service ensuring good condition and maintain the cleanliness and condition of all banquet function space according to maintenance plans. The Banquet House attendant anticipates needs to ascertain satisfaction and responds urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

The qualified candidate will possess a passion for flawless service and the highest level of integrity and work ethic.

Qualifications include:

  • Solid communication and organization skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and team player skills
