Program Dates 1 March, 2022 - 30 November, 2022 (Total time is 9 months)
Global Career Exchange, Inc. /T5 is delighted to Sponsor Interns at this remote, but very special location in Western Colorado. Surrounded by the vast lands of the Uncompahgre Plateau, Piñon Mesa and La Sal Mountains, you’ll find there is no better place in the world to reconnect with nature. Due to its unique locale, this resort was a prime destination during Covid as social distancing was easily achieved. This resulted in one of the most intense seasons for interns in 2020! This resort is also a big destination for group buyouts. Gateway is a one-stop adventure destination for team building with state-of-the-art meeting rooms and facilities, including an HD theater with stadium seating. Equipped with multiple dining venues, riding stables and adventure trails, everyone can find something to do to unwind. As a destination, Interns learn that they play a critical role in guest satisfaction as most everything is done on or near the resort. Gateway boasts 4 different restaurant outlets as well as private dining and room service. Interns will have the opportunity to rotate through all of these as well as banquets and special events.
Gateway Canyons Resort and Spa has been the training site of J-1 Interns for many years. They are great ambassadors of the J-1 Intern Program.
