The Hilton Anaheim is looking for a driven Convention Services Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This 1,600-room property is in the heart of Orange county, with the largest convention center on the west coast footsteps away, and just a few minutes’ walk to Disneyland. It is the perfect location for business and leisure.
As Convention Services Coordinator you would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of service for tour and travel (i.e. motor coach groups, weddings, social functions, etc.) groups. Reviews group files and communicates with various departments to prepare for group visits. Conducts site visits/inspections, monitors group room pick-up, tracks and manages client accounts (i.e. sends invoices, notifies Finance of payments, informs clients of overdue payments, etc.), greets groups and serves as on-site liaison, follows-up with in-house groups regarding service, and documents client contact for future reference and follow-up.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate would be outgoing, creative, driven and organized with a passion for hospitality. Having hotel, sales, administrative assistant, or coordinator experience in a relevant field is a plus.
