The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Phoenix is looking for a craftsman to head up the Food & Beverage department. The Director will need to polish our operations to bring out its full glowing potential. The ideal ingredients will include passion, energy, innovation, and leadership to create an experience that both guests and staff will love to dish about.

Responsibilities will include managing all F&B Operations for the property. Diamonds are created under pressure and this position will shine!

This is a full-time salaried position that will require the applicant to work as business needs dictates which may include nights, weekends and holidays.

The Director of F&B will drive the strategic direction of the Food and Beverage functions, encompassing a combination of banquets, kitchen and outlets. Will need to relaunch programs that were paused including room service and banquets. He/she will be responsible for leading the Food and Beverage leadership team in achieving the operational and financial goals of the culinary operation; monitoring the performance, scheduling and training of the staff; maintaining the facilities in accordance with Hilton service standards; and ensuring high customer satisfaction and an exceptional dining experience. All duties are performed in accordance to company policies and procedures.

  • Lead execution of all Food & Beverage Strategic Initiatives that impact culinary team members and ensure sustainability of initiatives. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and General Manager on initiatives, programs or concepts as needed.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of policies, operating procedures, training programs, directives, menus, work schedules, rules and regulations for the All Food and Beverage team members.
  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and coach the Food and Beverage team for the efficient operation of outlets and departments. Drive employee engagement through coaching, training, and development.
  • Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the individual outlets, to recommend and provide feedback on new menu opportunities whenever a change in demand, customer dissatisfaction, or a change in competitive environment requires such change.
  • Regularly review menu offerings and pricing
  • Lead F&B management team to achieve budgeted food cost and beverage cost through monthly inventories and daily spot checks 
  • Lead daily, Monthly and Quarterly department meeting to insure proper department communication
  • Ensure all health department permits are up to date and ready for inspection  
  • Utilize resources to drive profits, manage labor, and control expenses.
  • Participate and help lead the hotels overall goals as an Executive Committee Member
  • Perform other job - related duties as requested.


Work Experience
  • 2-5 years of Food Management
  • 2-3 years Hotel Management
  • Bachelors degree in related field or business, or equivalent experience
  • Must have valid Drivers License, Alcohol Training Certificate. and Food Handler Certificate
