About the job

This positon is concerned with the accurate recording/processing of reservations and the maximization of Food & Beverage outlet sales through proactive selling techniques. The Food & Beverage Sales Executive is responsible to take Reservations for Food & Beverage Outlets.


What will I be doing?

As Food & Beverage Sales Executive, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Handle inquire for Food & Beverage outlets - group and corporate individual.
  • Working closely with Groups, Meetings and Events (GM&E) department and Food & Beverage outlet in processing reservation requests by the respective accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of communication with all major sources of business and advise the F&B Sales manager of feedback where necessary.
  • Advise the F&B Sales Manager of any changes or trends relating to business.
  • Comply with all company policies relating to F&B outlet reservations. Manage accurate customer contact in accordance to company policies.
  • Maximization of food and beverage outlet sales and revenue for the availability and rate control ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area.
  • Ensure a sales attitude is adopted at all times and maintain an awareness of all sales opputunities within the hotel. Liase and follow upwith support departments.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
  • Ensure that all correspondence has been filed accordingly,with correct and updated information.
  • Adhere to all company credit policies that all revenue expected will be received.
  • Confirm availability control and overbooking decisions with the respective F&B Outlet Manager and F&B Sales Manager.
  • Prepares reservation list for F&B Sales Manager the following day
  • Follow up on prepayment and cancellation fee for all reservation managed by F&B Sales.
  • To be proactive in selling, taking reservations, sending proposals and confirmations, responding to F&B business related queries through emails.
  • Understand F&B Outlet information - F&B Menus, promotions, restaurant capacity & layout.
  • Passing on of sales leads to the Sales Department. Additional F&B, Catering and event sales etc. Obtain Hilton Honors members.
  • Update F&B Sales Manager on the leads - prospect, tentative and definite.
