Our Finance team serves as a critical business partner responsible for managing all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management.

What will I be doing?
The Manager of Business Development & Innovation will support the VP Business Development & Innovation in articulating and substantiating white space strategy alternatives and supporting leaders around the organization through the identification of capability gaps and potential third-party solutions. The Manager helps to serve as the central support system for innovation acceleration and identifying and integrating functional strategy. The role will conduct any analysis required of potential new and existing opportunities and continuously evaluate and monitor emerging technology/ innovations that could impact HLT’s business model. The manager will also support Hilton’s engagement with the start-up/venture community.

The Manager of Business Development & Innovation will work with the most senior Hilton leaders as well as leaders outside the company to support enterprise projects that have a significant impact on the organization’s key strategic priorities. As such, the position will require very strong people management and communication skills, strong financial and analytical capabilities, and the capability to be proficient in the functional expertise of partner teams.

This position will collaborate among internal partner groups including but not limited to Brands, Commercial Services, Technology, Customer Experience, Operations, Marketing & Loyalty, Human Resources, Food & Beverage, ESG, and Architecture & Design.

  • Conduct analysis of new business opportunities, white spaces, and emerging trends
  • Support articulation of strategic alternatives with white papers, strategy memos, and PPT presentations
  • Continuously evaluate and monitor emerging trends and technologies that could impact Hilton
  • Support creation and operationalization of centralized processes, tracking mechanisms, and reporting tools for business development to help the organization be efficient in:
  • Understanding capability gaps
  • Determining and evaluating potential third-party targets and competitors
  • Connecting targets with the right leaders and supervising progress in discussions
  • Supporting Hilton’s engagement with startups and the venture community
  • Provide support to leaders on potential business opportunities and assist with the formation of business cases.
  • Conduct valuations and qualitative analyses, and support deal negotiations as appropriate.


What are we looking for?
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:


  • 4 (Four) years of professional experience
  • 3 (Three) years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Banking, or Hotel Real Estate/Feasibility
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to travel <20%


It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
