Job Requirements

The DoubleTree by Hilton Greensboro is looking for Room Attendants/Housekeepers who have a passion for guest service and want to be part of an outstanding housekeeping team.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure that guest feel welcome by greeting all guests with a smile, eye contact and appropriate verbal greeting
  • Ability to ensure security of guest room access as well as guest and hotel property
  • Follow all safety programs and report any unsafe condition
  • Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents
  • Strip and make beds, changing all linens
  • Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and all areas of the room
  • Vacuum throughout entire guest room
  • Vacuum all hallways
  • Ensure all trash is removed from the guest room
  • Replenish amenities, bathroom linens, and supplies in guest room
  • Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance prior to notifying supervisor that it is ready for their inspection
  • Respond in a timely manner to guest requests for items such as an iron, extra towels, amenities, safety instructions, assistance, direction, and any other information as requested
  • Report all suspicious persons, activities or hazardous conditions to the appropriate department
  • Other duties as assigned such as assisting House person and laundry area when requested


Work Experience

Job Requirements:

·       Ability to push and pull items weighing up to 40 lbs.

·       Ability to perform cleaning tasks, using chemical and work in confined spaces

·       Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, as well as guests

Job Skills:

·       Excellent customer service skills

·       Good communication skills
