Job Requirements

Responsible for the sales efforts in developing revenue for the hotel. Meet or exceed budgeted goals for occupancy, ADR, RevPar. Manage all areas of sales according to brand standards and management company guidelines, to achieve a professional reputation within the community. You will be actively involved in researching, qualifying, and developing leads to booked business. This position will work closely with the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, Regional Revenue Manager, and General Manager to maintain all sales objectives.

Responsible for directly supervising all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties. Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, guest services, and the telephone areas.

Work Experience

· Develop a marketing plan focused on budget goals using historical and forecasted data

· Create action plans for all market segments to stay focused

· Learn the competition in the market and steal share

· Develop and maintain productive professional relationships with account contacts, business associations, and local Convention Bureau and/or tourism department

· Create a culture of service in the department and hotel to maintain guest focus

· Present operational needs of all events to appropriate departments to ensure events are performed well and guest expectations are met or exceeded

· Participate in MOD program rotation

· Solicit new business and saturate existing accounts to maximize volume based on hotel needs

· Conduct property tours

· Network in the community to promote hotel and maintain awareness

· Work with the revenue manager to maximize opportunities and increase business

· Utilize Social Media to expand customer base
