What will I be doing:

As the Senior Manager, Digital Media Strategy, you will be a part of the Americas Marketing Strategy & Planning team, leading our digital marketing campaigns' budgetary and performance needs. This role will be essential to the growth and evolution of Hilton Advance, our performance media acquisition engine geared at driving bookings for our 5,000 US, Canada, and the Caribbean and Latin American hotels.

Additional responsibilities will be to utilize your digital media expertise to analyze and optimize the overall program performance, providing recommendations that impact digital direct revenue overall. We will depend on you to ensure that we’re prioritizing the most effective media channel tactics to hit program Key Performance Indicators. Furthermore, you will lead the efforts of bridging together our brand-building upper-funnel campaigns to our mid-funnel destination, prospecting, and conversion efforts.

  • Collaborate on managing digital acquisition media program, Hilton Advance - ensure program meets key performance goals.
  • Lead mid-funnel media strategies that bridge our brand-building upper-funnel campaigns to low funnel performance marketing programs.
  • Handle annual budgetary and allocations by channel, utilize findings from Marketing Mix Modeling and Multi-Touch Attribution outputs, including partnering with Finance teams on publisher invoicing and monthly accruals.
  • Lead the testing roadmap for the digital channels and keep a pulse on digital advertising trends and innovations.
  • Track and evaluate digital performance trends and provide optimization recommendations to channel leads to improve return on investment and program efficiency.
  • Craft and own testing framework and cross-channel coordination of digital roadmaps, aligning to marketing key strategic priorities and business goals. This involves effectively communicating test results to cross-functional teams and ensuring follow-through from media agencies on scaling.
  • Partner with Data & Analytics, Marketing Performance, Digital Product, and Commercial Performance teams to effectively communicate campaign performance and strategy.
  • Educate program benefits to Brand Marketing, Ecommerce, and other partners.
  • Collaborate with media agency partners to ensure the campaign reaches performance targets.

  • Ability to run multiple projects across critical yet often fluctuating deadlines

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience at a media agency or corporate media environment
  • Five (5) years of experience within digital advertising and channels, including SEM, SEO, programmatic display, paid social, and affiliate marketing
  • Three (3) years of experience within the ad-tech ecosystem with knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform stack, Adobe Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, DSP, DMP, DCO, Ad Servers, Bid Management Platforms

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Experience managing large enterprise media budgets
  • Experience executing paid media campaigns in SEM, social, programmatic display
  • Experience operating bid management platforms and ad technology
  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
