About the job
The Assistant Restaurant Manager helps supervise employees and performs relative duties the Restaurant Manager assigns regarding operation of the front of the house. The assistant also must be able to fill in when the Restaurant Manager is absent.

About you
• Perform and supervise Open / Mid-Day / Closing duties
• Attend daily briefing
• Be present on weekly management meetings
• Report any issues regarding staff, maintenance
• Running a section on a busy lunch and or evening time
• Attend and if necessary train for the staff
• Adopt and implement new rules, regulations according to La Cantine du Faubourg
• Work by company policy and lead by example
• Share ideas in favor of better performance
• Maintain proper sanitation, hygiene standards in the venue
• Maintain effective store presentation
• Weekly inventory of cutlery, restaurant napkins, glassware
• Over-see general operation of the venue
• Ensure safety & sanitation
• Monitor food and beverage quality
• Communicate with kitchen
• Prepare and receive orders of food and beverages
• Conduct weekly inventories to ensure that proper levels are stocked abd to assess ordering patterns and changes
• Check and adjust lighting
• Fill daily meeting sheets
• Assign service sections
Must be knowledgeable of:

• Fist Aids
• Food Menu
• Wine Menu
• Cocktails Menu
• Allergies
• Rota
• Fire safety procedures
- Language required: English. Spanish, French, and Portuguese is a plus
