Job description


Within the Europe & Middle East Head Office and reporting to France & Monaco General Manager, the Client Development Manager is the key contact in charge of animating the Client Development Specialists community in the boutiques of France Monaco around all client development topics. His contribution to increasing the share of locals in each country is key.

The Client Development Manager must help the boutiques to develop their business by

  • A better knowledge of their clientele
  • The identification of key personalized levers according to each boutique challenges
  • The follow-up and implementation of all main client marketing projects : training of the dedicated client tool, follow-up of prospects, follow-up of new clients, follow-up of high potential clients
  • The animation and development of client knowledge among the boutique team and definition of key objectives

Main Responsibilities

Client Development

Understand the global clientele of the market (database, market share, client segmentation)

Define action plans to focus on both recruitment of new clients and loyalty/upgrading of existing ones

Focus on the recruitment of new clients and development of certain segments

Manage efficiently clienteling tools: database, intern software, app

Identify potential clients with a influence in their own network and be able to develop new contacts/prospects

Animate the Client Development Program in consistency with key priorities

Work closely with Retail teams to ensure marketing activities are in line with commercial needs

Define, propose and implement a marketing plan in all aspects including new product launches, event, client development, media planning, VM and training

Control and follow up budget & impact of all actions. 

Event & Client treatment

Propose and create – in close link with France HO - innovative Local Brand image  events and store thematic events aligned with the brand positioning & image

Planify and coordinate all  commercial events in our boutiques

Provide sales teams with all relevant information to ensure the good understanding and implementation of marketing plans

Identify the right profiles of clients and/or prospects for  personalized client treatment

Coordinate implementation of specific and personalized treatment planning for each client

Establish a follow-up of each event performance and share best practices


Understand each boutique key challenges and be proactive in proposing operational and pragmatic client actions to implement

Be at ease to meet client and develop their brand knowledge via small talks and social moments

Be a support to the business development of each boutique

You have a master’s degree, ideally in Marketing

You have 5 years’ experience in a management role

Good understanding of luxury business

Experience of the retail market place

Personal affinity with brand and products

International is an asset but not essential

French & English fluent

Based in Paris
