Wines & Spirits (such as Moet & Chandon, Hennessy), Fashion & Leather Goods
(such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Fendi), Perfumes & Cosmetics (such as
Guerlain, Benefit Cosmetics), Watches & Jewelry (such as Tag Heuer, Bulgari) and
Selective Retailing (such as Sephora, Le Bon Marché).
This role will be part of the Data Factory within LVMH Group, under the responsibility
of the LVMH Head of Data Governance & Growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Governance
• Champion “Data Governance” message across the enterprise (vision,
strategy, process, value)
• Work closely with Business, IT and Legal teams to improve the use and value
of data assets and respond with action to regulatory requirements
• Establish and enable adherence to the Data Governance Framework for data
policies, standards and practices
• Identify areas of opportunity on data quality and lead initiatives to resolve data
quality issues, embedding the idea of ‘data quality’ across the organisation
• Govern the Data Governance implementation roadmap
• Resolve issues escalated to a Group level with the relevant Business Owners,
managing logs on data risks and issues
• Manage external data partnerships to ensure data is of quality, accurate and
complete (‘fit for purpose)
• Support the Data Governance Committee ‘on the ground’, sharing and
activating key messages
• Define roles and responsibilities related to Data Governance eg. Data
Stewards, ensuring clear accountability for data assets whilst supporting and
animating Maison Data Stewards
• Together with the Data Owner, Referentials; Set up and deliver key Data
Governance artefacts; Data inventories, flows, dictionary
• Together with the Lead, Data Growth; Identify new business opportunities
related to data assets for an increase in efficiency/ effectiveness
• Always represent data as a strategic business asset to be leveraged for
business gain
• Develop upskilling tools to support stakeholders
• Adapt these elements to the specificities of each Division (Watches & Jewelry,
Perfumes & Cosmetics, Fashion & Leather Goods, etc.)

Data Compliance
• Follow market / regulatory practices, including the practices of Big Tech eg.
Cookieless World, Do Not Track, sharing these updates internally with a view
of impact and action to be taken
• Develop and conduct regular Compliance Assessments in collaboration with
Maisons, always with a view to accelerate the Maison

Profil

We are looking for a senior profile, a data expert who is able to popularize the
importance of data governance for business purposes and truly believes in the
power of data. You understand that data must be of quality and reliable in order to
provide business value – yet adaptable and creative enough to find solutions and
work with Maison needs. You can think outside of the box and are always looking
beyond, and comfortable with new technologies eg. NFTs, Metaverse, Blockchain

• 8-10 years of experience in the field of Data, with experience embedding data
governance processes and standards at a strategic level
• Varied and detailed knowledge of the various areas of Data Management eg.
Data quality, migration, metadata management etc.
• Previous experiences in an ambitious and successful Data Team
• Very good command of English both written and spoken
• Energetic and user-oriented person. Ability to prioritize tasks while managing
multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and storytelling ability.
• Enjoys building relationships across an organisation
• Excellent project management to lead from the framework phase to the final
deliverable
• Leadership – Ability to unite the Maisons around common objectives.
