Aim of the position:

Define and manage the regional distribution strategy for a Maison to sustain and develop the business in line with Maison’s expectations and standards.

Responsibilities/Activities

1. Distribution Strategy

1.1 To define the distribution strategy for the category with a focus per Channel/Region 

1.2 To liaise with the HQ Distribution Director in term of business and distribution results and provide the Maison the related reporting

1.3 To define the selective distribution agreement and deal with the main customers (number and quality of doors, MOQ, visibility/facing spaces)

1.4 To ensure POS criteria analysis and implementation of the required standards

1.5 To monitor the POS standards and targets

1.6 With the marketing team to define the VM strategy to support both the selective distribution standards, the Maison requests and business needs

2. Commercial and business management

2.2 To manage the main customers and the dedicated sales force (if any) to lead the business development

2.3 To give targets and tools to the sales force to achieve business results

2.4 To propose sales force sizing and doors coverage

2.5 To monitor competitors on the market and implement action plans consequently

3. Marketing

3.1 To provide analysis and make proposal for marketing activities and tools to support both the selective distribution and business results

3.2 To guarantee spaces and facing standards for the visual merchandising strategy implementation

3.3 To implement animation within the Maison network

3.4 To propose retail projects to anticipate future trends in the industry

4. Level of Service

To define, implement and monitor the level of service required to meet both customers, Maison and business needs.
