Fragrance Product Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Ensure growth of fragrance category is in line with objective set by the Marketing Manager
Be creative and daring to successfully launch new products while supporting the core catalogue through impactful flawlessly executed 360 activations
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Implement new product launches and strive to maintain growth on icons within the category/pillars
As the category lead for the UK, the PM is in charge of driving fragrances and growing the business under their perimeter:
- Establish the marketing plan with Marketing Manager
- Develop the launch strategy (360° platform) and animation theme that will lead the visual execution and message across all levers activated. Act as the cross functional lead with merchandising, digital & e-retail, PR and sales. Ensure every delivery is on brands and aligned with global guidelines.
- Lead launch projects with all departments and spread vision
- Ensure the flawless execution of campaigns and relevant reporting to asses their efficiency and drive future decision making.
2. Develop promotional and trade marketing plan for the category/pillars; work closely with VM and Sales teams to ensure smooth and consistent implementation
- Design and lead with ecommerce team and commercial team the trade plan to support key trading peaks / launches
- Work closely with Sales & Field team to maximize local animations for category, and ensure in-store execution is consistent with the brand’s image and philosophy
- Brief the Marketing Intern to ensure all projects are well communicated, delivered on time and perfectly executed
3. Manage budget and ensure sales forecasts accuracy for category
- Ensure that all activities are carried out within budget parameter as agreed with Marketing Director
=> Management of the POSM & Collateral trackers, and meticulous attention to PO raising
- Ensure accurate forecasting of NPD fragrances, samples and GWPs
- Ensure adequate stock coverage for all category items (products, samples, testers, GWPs)
=> Work with Sales and Operation on: forecasts of basic & new initiatives / correct phasing in line with our NPD (sell out) ambitions and priorities / quota management
4. Reporting
- In charge of the reporting of the performances of the fragrance category (monthly NPD reports, qualitative analysis, post launch analysis)
- Deliver insightful competition analysis to support future decision making
- Feed the wider team with insights and key market figures to ensure alignment behind objectives and delivery against target
5. Management of one intern
- Manage one intern who sits in the marketing team, working primarily on fragrances and supporting key projects on make-up
- Set weekly / monthly goals and ensure work is delivered in a timely manner.
- Support the intern on the key projects they will work autonomously on to ensure their growth and development
Profil
Key Competencies/Technical Skills

Excellent proof-reading skills
English mother tongue or bilingual necessary
Profile
2+ years operational marketing experience, preferably in UK Beauty market. Other industries considered
