The Opportunity:

As our Social Media & Employer Brand Intern, you will sit on our Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing team. This role will work closely with the internal communications team to showcase what it looks like to work at Sephora externally on our social media channels. You will also work cross-functionally with our talent acquisition team to understand key hiring needs to promote on our channels, and our DE&I team to highlight different diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Your responsibilities include:

  • Build creative content calendars for SephoraLife’s channels.
  • Research trends in the social media and recruitment marketing spaces to integrate into our current content mix.
  • Analyze content performance to drive results and make recommendations for optimization.
  • Keep content up to date on other Employer Brand channels including Glassdoor, Indeed, and Comparably.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams to help spotlight key internal moments externally on our social media channels.
  • Assist with additional communications needs to support recruitment marketing campaigns and reputation management.

Qualifications: 

  • Junior or Senior at a college or accredited university.
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Experience creating social media content
  • Preferred: experience in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and video editing
  • Ability to be agile and work quickly to react to trends or unexpected events
  • Proficient in social media channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok


The target hourly pay for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 per hour. The actual hourly pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
