About the role...
The HR Coordinator will provide a support to the Human Resources department at LEGOLAND Florida Resort. This role will be responsible for administering a wide variety of HR processes including onboarding, recruitment, payroll, benefits, employee relations, training and development.
What you’ll be doing...
General participation and assistance during the interview, assessment, and onboarding processes.
Management of hire paperwork sessions and subsequent data flow and management (including but not limited to accurately enter, check, and manage all pre-screening information, new hire entry, action forms changes data accuracy, employee data and information in the various HR systems alongside the NA People Hub.)
Provides departments entry level assistance and support when needed with regards to recruitment, employee relations, employee engagement, and other HR matters. Escalates non-entry level matters to the HR Business Partner.
Resolves general employee issues and questions where possible or directs the individual to the appropriate member of the HR team (within People Hub or LLFR).
Accurately prepares all requested and scheduled reports in a timely manner.
In a cost effective manner, orders and ensures the appropriate amounts of supplies are continuously maintained (toner for printer, staples, etc.).
Propose ideas for process improvements and employee related activities.
Performs clerical duties such as distributing mail, filing, scanning and calendar/event coordination.
Provides clerical support to the HR department.
Conducts and assists with new hire orientation.
Maintains integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Who we’re looking for...
Previous HR/data entry knowledge/experience required. Prior HR experience in a theme park/hospitality is a plus. Knowledge of office support functions and Microsoft Office products required (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point). Proficiency in Excel is strongly preferred. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to take, prioritize and follow direction from multiple sources, and strong attention to detail. This position requires ability to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently, accuracy and thoroughness, monitoring own work to ensure quality, a professional interpersonal style with the ability to maintain confidentiality. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work cooperatively with diverse work styles.
Ability to utilize sound judgment, discretion and maintain confidentiality is mandatory. Requires demonstrated skill in interpersonal relationships, making presentations, and verbal and written communication. Must be able to present a professional image to internal and external contacts and build relationships with internal team members.
