Due to continuing growth and development of Merlin’s attractions and brands on a global scale, we are looking for a highly motivated IT Project Manager
to oversee the planning and executing IT projects within Merlin Entertainments, based at either or Madame Tussauds office in central London or Thorpe Park Resort in Chertsey.
Reporting into the Head of IT Project Delivery and Business Engagement, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing and delivering small to medium projects for multiple attractions across the globe. You will deliver IT solutions to users’ requirements or problems to agreed time, cost and quality expectations, in line with the plan and subject to change control. About You…
- You should be able to understand and clearly articulate the demands of the business in relation to the assigned project(s)
- To be able to effectively manage shifting priorities within a project through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are essential for this role.
- To be diplomatic, patient and approachable.
- You will have gained commercial IT experience working with the following technologies and methods: APM (or other/regional equivalent e.g. PMI) Microsoft Office product suite, Coordination and Planning (Microsoft Project), Experience of structured methodologies such as TDD, Agile, and Waterfall. ITIL/Microsoft Operations Framework experience / qualified is desirable
