About the role

As the business expands this is an exciting opportunity to join our Global Sales team and help us further develop Qatar Airways’ Leisure segments across the globe. You will be working with local and global sales and marketing teams, Revenue Management, Loyalty, distribution and other stakeholders to support all Leisure Segment, including Student, Cruise, Tour Operators, VFR, Sports, OTAs, and more.

We are hiring your skills to provide support and assistance to Global Sales functions and enable them to achieve their Sales targets and wider commercial objectives. You will be working with Global Sales Leisure Managers and Senior Officers to implement sales strategies that will enable revenue growth while keeping a clear focus on commercial alignment across the organization. You will be providing support in formulating and maintaining sales policies, processes and procedures, you will be providing valuable analysis and intelligent reporting, and you will be responsible for driving day to day coordination of the client/supplier sales cycle in harmonization with QR Sales Offices,

Other key operational duties would include:

  • Assist Global Sales Managers to grow relationships with contracted/new partners and achieve revenue target by providing information and reviewing the existing businesses and recommending new opportunities for new business.
  • Providing initial and ongoing analysis of QR opportunity and competitive circumstances within a changing global marketplace in order to support Global Sales leaders with informed commercial decisions and reduce speed to market.
  • Prepare intelligent reports & analytics for client & internal stakeholder business reviews.
  • Participate in & support the incentive agreement processes both from a sales generation & cost reduction basis in order to support the business sin achieving speed to market and maximize return on investment.
  • Contribute to the processes of RFI/RFPs by providing data modelling to enable KAMs to target key business opportunities. Aggregate feedback from QR sales office and various departments, packaging and develop response documents for client request.
  • Supporting the fare filing for Global Accounts in conjunction with PRM/Tariffs, testing & reporting any errors and acts as a catalyst within the department for all issues related to Global Fare filing
  • Working closely with KAMs to actively drive short term and long term fare reviews to support stations and partners.
  • Support the execution of cost of sale strategies and trade sales programs in order to further facilitate cost optimization for the wider commercial organization.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join the Global Sales team.

  • Bachelor’s degree qualified.
  • 3+ years of job related experience
  • Knowledge/understanding of the key elements of global airline sales.
  • Ability to handle and process large blocks of data and prepare executive summaries
  • Ability to handle multiple project while ensuring timely delivery
  • Proven commercial skills and business acumen (able to spot and interpret market trends)
  • Knowledge of travel industry
