About the role 

The Lean team is dedicated to identify, lead and deliver Lean Six Sigma projects and trainings as part of the Continuous Improvement and Transformation journey. These projects achieve operational efficiency and transformational change with visible benefits, thereby supporting QR Group’s strategic transformation, continuous improvement. The Lean Programme Manager acts as the Lean Business Partner for a Business Unit, a Global Process Owner, a Region and a Subsidiary in order to deliver specific Lean Transformation initiatives. The role acts as coach, a mentor, problem solver, change agent, and an expert in understanding and implementing change management and organizational dynamics.

Below are some of the key accountabilities:

  • Act as a Strategic Transformation Business Partner for the key stakeholders of the assigned portfolio
  • Manage the continuous strategic planning, monitoring, analysis and assessment of QR Lean Initiatives
  • Provide critical thinking and influence by helping to link the company’s strategic agenda to the resulting execution plan. 
  • Provides guidance and counsel in the development of long term and short term Lean projects.
  • Identify gaps in existing process capabilities and propose areas for improvement and develop road map/ business plan for future business improvement.

About you

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience.
  • Demonstrated practical and strategic leadership experience in a Lean and continuous improvement culture.
  • Experience with exposure to a culture of continuous improvement and ability to work at all levels across the organization.
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful project delivery with visible benefits possibly in different industries
  • Able to lead Lean trainings up to Black Belt level
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification
  • Degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance, or Engineering from a top-tier institution
  • Change Management Professional Certifications.
  • Relevant experience in a finance organization performing similar duties
  • A mix of consulting and in-house experience are preferable
  • Project and change management experience.
  • Global Business services operating model design.
  • Experience in the design and improvement of processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required; Ability to recommend alternative solutions and translate complex concepts into simplified and understandable examples
  • Strong understanding of business process mapping; application of these principles to solving complex business problems
  • Ability to work across all levels and lead through influence
  • Experience managing cross departmental teams; proven ability to lead and motivate
  • Strong understanding of End to End business improvements
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior executives
  • Proven track record of setting direction, leading large scale projects and engaging teams
