Position Title:         Area Manager- North
Reports to:        Retail Manager, China
Location:         Beijing

Position Summary
Achieve, Develop and Manage the performances of VCA Boutiques in respective area

Key responsibilities
1.    Area Strategies
•    Develop area strategies to achieve retail target in terms of qualitative and quantitative aspects
•    Implement area strategies to ensure annual business objectives are met. 

2.    Achieve the sales target
•    Proactively identify the potential commercial opportunities and drive organic growth across the area, in accordance with the maison’s objectives.
•    Monitor and follow up boutique manager to achieve sales target 
•    Analyze and monitor boutiques performance KPIs, and propose action plan
•    Participate in proposing commission scheme, to motivate boutique sales 
•    Organize feedbacks to Retail Director and Retail Manager on market trends, local competition, customer needs etc. to improve the strategic plan 
•    Coordinate with Retail/PR/MKT to build brand equity in local city/province to optimize Boutique performance
•    Handle local event and boutique animation sales

3.    Boutique Operation in compliance way
•    Ensure boutiques operation according to predefined SOP
•    Ensure boutique operating policies and procedures comply with Richemont requirements and the Group’s policies
•    Regular visit boutique and provide feedback to boutique manager on boutique operation, sales and KPIs performance, service and staff development
•    Coordinate with internal functions (VM, Merchandizing, CRM, Training, PR, Marketing…), to support boutiques’ performance meet VCA request.  
•    Ensure boutique image aligned with VCA standard in collaboration with VM functions

4.    Prestige level of service 
•    Standardize boutique service/ after sale service criterion and procedure to improve customers’ experience and satisfaction
•    Monitor service level through Mystery Shopping Survey, develop and implement action plan in collaboration with training function
•    Coordinate with CRM team, ensure the implementation of CRM activities and strategy in boutiques: customer retention and upgrade, new VIP recruitment, CDB collection etc. 

5.    Team Management    
•    Select and recruit staff according to VCA standard 
•    Communicate the Mason’s objectives and vision with boutique managers / staffs
•    Animate team performances: set clear roles and responsibilities, set appropriate objectives and KPIs, control their fulfillment, ensure regular and appropriate feedback
•    Provide training, coaching & feedback for boutique staff’s career development
•    Retain people by motivating team to gain job satisfaction

6.    Others    
•    Prepare monthly report and analysis: sales, staff performance, competitor sales analysis…etc.
•    Monthly attendance and commission check
•    Boutique T&E control 
•    Take lead in other boutique related events & projects

Requirements:
1.    At least 8 years retail management working experience, including at least 5 years experience at management level
2.    In depth knowledge of luxury industry, selling process, customer behavior and cities difference
3.    Good communication and influence skills
4.    Strong in team management, understand how to motivate staff to achieve better result
5.    Native Mandarin speaker, bilingual will be a plus
