MAIN PURPOSE

Maximize brand exposure, to build brand awareness and realize the sales potentials:

-      Translate and adopt global brand strategies into the coherent and consistent brand marketing plan by mastering sounded local market intelligence.

-      Formulate, execute, and manage effective PR and communication strategies.

-      Explore collaboration possibilities by building reliable network and rapports not merely with media/ presses but also trade partners’ marketing functions and any other event and activities partners.

-      Promote China market and Chinese clients by proactively exchanging local market insights with Global count partners.

-      Monitor the A&P budgets regularly and continuously improve ROI by building financially effective and efficient event models.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Marketing Info Collection, Analysis and Sharing
  • Collect and analyze market information and competitors’ marketing and events data.
  • Generate needed reports for Head Office and internal usage. Assist GM and Regional Management in the preparation of business plan.
  • Proactively share local insights/ best practices with global/ regional Marketing and Communication teams to gain leverage and promote China market/ Chinese clients.
  • Take lead to prepare the 360 activation plan with different functions.


  • Public Relations
  • Build, manage and support the brand relationships with journalist, celebrities and their agents, socialites, opinion leaders, etc.
  • Manage the database and to develop effective network for the brand.
  • Regularly send out personalized PR messages and follow up on all editorial results.
  • Identify and execute high-quality product placement opportunities/ other quality exposure.
  • Share monthly PR results with sales team, as well as with Global/ Regional regularly.


  • Events Planning and Implementation
  • With tangible goal settings, propose and organize promotional and PR events based on Annual Marketing Calendar.
  • Innovatively broaden the quality clients’ database and realize the sales immediately from the events.
  • Support and manage, with vendors, all set up / decoration aspects of events and to ensure the compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Monitor event budgets and continuously improve ROI activity by activity.
  • Share event results with Global/ Regional Marketing team on regular and organized platform.


  • Media
  • Establish and execute annual media plan according to Global/ Regional media direction and local needs.
  • Develop and ensure excellent relationships with targeted media (sales and editorial).
  • Work closely with central office, propose and manage the overall media/advertising and publicity plans.
  • Provide advertising materials to the media or other tools to the media on a regular basis and ensure optimal exposure.
  • Build ROI analysis model, continuously maximize return for the media investment and optimize PR benefits in relations to the advertising investments.


  • Digital
  • Cooperate with HQ for local digital plan establishment and planning
  • Verify all digital platform content
  • Proactively share local insights on digital communication channels & new platform set up such as WECHAT etc.


  • Publication
  • Localization on different version of global developed publications: Collection books, collection kits, Chinese leaflets etc.


  • Commercial Support
  • Watch Wonder sales plan preparation with sales team.
  • Monthly Marketing/ Communication Clips to Stores to make fully alignment between the above the line and below the line communications.
  • Help and validate TMKT manager’s preparation on product / sales training, sales tools/tips for sales team.


JOB PROFILE (FOR RECRUITMENT PURPOSE ONLY)

-      At least university degree / MBA preferred.

-      8+ years Marketing and/ or PR experience in the international brands or well-known PR agencies, relevant industry, watch or jewelry experience preferred.

-      Fluent Chinese and English speaking and writing. 

-      Strong interpersonal skills.

-      Good analytical skills, detail-oriented, good planning and organizing skills with ability to cope with changes.

-      Mature, self-motivated, outgoing
