QUALITY COORDINATOR
PRIMARY DUTIES
Perform Quality Control and associated activities in the NY Logistics Platform for High-Jewelry, Jewelry and Watches
KEY RESPONSIBILIES
- Perform quality control, identify discrepancies and root causes. Take picture of damaged pieces. Process proper QC flow in SAP and relevant software
- Handle pieces within prescribed parameters and standards within the platform
- Maintain and update QC specifications for each concerned Maison according to their needs and quality guidelines
- Maintain continuous communication about QC status with the team and our Maisons.
Ensure follow-up of pieces QC status with Maisons and Workshop - Contribute to QC performance, analyze and suggest corrective actions related to QC KPI and participate in continuous improvement within the platform
- Manage the supply stock necessary for the QC activity
- Support successive integrations of Maisons for QC considering needs of both Logistics and Maisons functions. Suggests ideas and improvements
SECONDARY DUTIES
Provide support to the Logistics function at our NY Logistics Platform
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the inbound team to put products away in our vault, following the necessary steps in SAP
- Manage any punctual relevant project assigned by Management
- Punctually support cycle counts / inventory as needed
JOB PROFILE
Education:
- Diploma in horology, jewelry and/or gemology a plus
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in jewerly and/or gemology/horology
- General awareness for handling high value pieces
- Must be able to travel for training outside of the domestic US for extended periods of time for training.
Technical Skills / Abilities:
- Knowledge in Quality Control
- Knowledge of high-jewelry and/or jewelry/high-end watches
- SAP EWM experience is a plus
- MS Access, Word, MS Excel, PPT
Travel Required
- Limited travel for training is required to support business needs, including international travel.
- Prior to attending training, applicant must be in possession of a current, valid U.S.passport
