We’re currently in search of a fast-learning, highly creative Pastry Sous Chef to lead (and inspire) pastry at 1 Hotel Nashville at all levels from production to exquisite presentation. Plus, you'll excel at mentoring your team through leading by example and a hands-on approach to ultimately create a synergy that will inevitably enhance the department and guest experience.  

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Passionate about desserts and a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience.
  • A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
  • An expert in pastry production, a strong leader and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
  • Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
  • Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
