The Vacancy
We are looking for a Legal Support Team Manager to join our successful Lettings Team. This is a great opportunity for somebody who has experience within a compliance or legal background and has a genuine interest in developing processes and identifying development areas, whilst working within the legal structures of the Pubs Code and the complexities of leased & tenanted pubs.
The role of the Lettings Team is to provide first class support across the onboarding process to both prospective publicans and internal colleagues. The Legal Support Team Manager will provide innovation and enthusiasm with a clear focus on the customer journey, resulting in the delivery of an efficient, compliant, and modernised approach to taking on new agreements.

The Key responsibilities of a Legal Support Team Manager include:
- To continuously seek development opportunities to improve the service and support of the wider team across the onboarding process
- Lead the engagement across the business in relation to agreements and the onboarding process, providing clarity and consistency across process and procedures
- Lead the team in supporting and helping deliver the Stonegate strategy and associated KPIs
- Encourage team members to both understand and engage with the wider business as well as actively raising the profile of the team in a positive and supportive manner
- Manage and develop individuals’ capability and performance to exceed objectives through regular reviews, coaching, training, monitoring, and feedback
- Fully embrace the Stonegate values and ways of workings, as well as ensuring your team proactively demonstrate the same behaviours
- Continued focus on reviewing legal processes with Legal Operations on a quarterly basis with a view to continued development/improvement
- Ensure the completion of the quarterly audit of Pubs Code Schedule 1 information
- Acting as compliance signatory for Pubs Code documentation and an agreement signatory for legal documentation
