While training to become a restaurant Supervisor you can visit the local area of Cooperstown! Cooperstown is a village in central New York State, at the southern tip of Otsego Lake. It’s known for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, with its interactive exhibits, artifacts and Plaque Gallery.

Rate of pay:  $15 hr for Host/Supervisor shifts.  $8.35 For Server shifts + Gratuities.

 

It is customary in the US to work in “gratuity” positions. In these positions, you will receive a base hourly salary plus gratuity (tips). While the amount of a gratuity is ultimately at the discretion of the guest, the customary tip is 15-20% of the total bill before tax. Based on history, you may expect to earn around $20.00 per hour”.

Uniform is offered but you will need to bring your own black, non slip shoes. A complimentary meal is provided per shift.

Staff housing is provided at $400 month / $100 per week. This is a payroll deduction. There is a $200.00 refundable deposit if the house is left in good order. Private bedroom with Shared Bathroom and all Utilities included. Shuttle provided to go to the store in town, otherwise you can walk to the property.  Closest airport: The property provides transportation pick up from Albany Airport. https://www.albanyairport.com
