As part of the experiences team, you will manage the discovery roadmap that impacts millions of monthly users worldwide. 

We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager to help us define our strategy for the future and build a roadmap focused on driving engagement and discoverability. You will own and drive the long-term vision of our experiences, upper funnel. You will understand key user problems via customer research and data analysis and translate these and business needs into actionable solutions.

As part of this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with other leads in Engineering, Design, Search, UX Research, Analytics, Legal, Product Marketing, PR, and stakeholders across Tripadvisor.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the experiences discoverability roadmap; ownership includes our Things to Do page and product list page. You’ll consult with our internal search team and drive projects and initiatives that impact the Experiences business.
  • Work with our internal search team to make experiences search results discoverable and informative. Search ownership may include partnering with research/design and developing a new search result page.
  • Connect your Search engineering partners and user research to uncover and understand user intent
  • You’ll be responsible for performance measurement & testing, guiding user research, and making informed tactical decisions to communicate your vision and progress for your stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to move Tripadvisor Experiences’ business needs forward while providing the best user experience possible.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key conversion metrics and A/B test to support continual optimization of the product. 
  • Create detailed specifications for your new product ideas and supervise the creation, testing, and rollout plans.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of analysts, researchers, data scientists, and engineers to build and deliver features that impact millions of users.
  • Communicate and build internal alignment around your mobile product roadmap
  • Collaborate with other product managers, analysts, and design teams to ensure your roadmap fits Tripadvisor’s user expectations. 


What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of product management experience in e-commerce
  • Experience communicating creative and functional ideas and feedback
  • Strong technical background, experience working with APIs
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field is a plus
  • Someone who can explain a query parser to their stakeholders
  • Experience with an international platform
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing methodology and experience running tests
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills. Process-driven and detail-oriented.
  • Recognizes own strengths and weaknesses; pursues self-development and seeks feedback. Can acknowledge mistakes when relevant, learn from those mistakes, and move forward productively.
  • Self-motivated worker with entrepreneurial passion. Proven creative problem-solving and innovative mindset.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills are essential.
  • Goal orientated with a demonstrated record of success in previous endeavors; motivated to deliver exceptional results, driven by a strong work ethic.
