About the job

Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the role is responsible for the management of all aspects of the Front of House functions and front office Talent including Welcome desk, Concierge, Welcome ambassadors and Whatever Whenever.

As a department head, the Director of Welcome:

directs and works with managers and employees to successfully execute all front office operations, from pre arrival to departure procedures.
Strives to continually improve guest and talent satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
Develops and maintains the acknowledgment of all guests visiting the location along with the Guest experience Manager, the Assistant Rooms manager and the Director of Style.
Ensures all departments are aware of all guests’ needs and information prior to arrival that will lead to a unique, memorable and personal stay.

About you

High school diploma or GED; 4 years’ experience in a management position in guest services, front desk, or related professional area OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major; 2 years’ experience as a manager in guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
Knowledge of luxury and lifestyle hospitality standards and operating procedures
Ideally, knowledge of Opera
Fluent Italian and English languages, any other language would be a plus
