THE ROLE

You will be part of a passionate and collaborative Contingent Workforce Program Team that centralizes the management of contingent workers and 3rd party suppliers in order to mitigate risk, reduce spend and improve efficiency and level of services.

Under the direction of the Global Manager of the Complementary Worker Program (CWP), the individual in this role will be responsible for partnering with US Hiring Managers on their contingent workforce needs, managing the performance of US suppliers, and delivering strategic and cost efficient workforce solutions. This will include managing  incoming requisitions and day-to-day operations, ensuring successful delivery of the end-to-end Complementary Worker life-cycle. This role will require balancing multiple priorities, managing and organizing work, optimizing components of the CW program, as well as establishing new facets and innovating the program. This role will also require strong situational awareness and the ability to make decisions that align to WeWork values and policies.  As WeWork’s Complementary program continues to grow and change, this lead will need to be flexible in their approach and nimble with execution. This lead will need to display optimism and a passion for the contingent workforce labor management and providing optimal solutions for the business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage US CW requests and inquiries, performing the tasks associated with the sourcing, selection, on-boarding, maintenance and offboarding of  contingent workers (CWs) using the Beeline system

  • Act as an advocate and key point of contact for the CWP in the US proactively educating and advising Hiring Managers and stakeholders on the Contingent Workforce policy, processes and best practices

  • Conduct reviews with approved vendors on PSL, monitor performance and provide recommendations and feedback to Global CWP Lead

  • Maintain collaborative and positive relationships with supplier community ensuring positive perception of WeWork as an employer of choice; and  reporting on performance metrics and providing insights and support to address quality control issues.  

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners such as TA Operations, Legal, Compliance, and People Partners to drive consistency and compliance to CW Policy.

  • Make recommendations for continuous process improvement in the end-to-end cycle as well as in the VMS (Beeline)

  • Steward of the VMS relationship and ensure the VMS is optimized for WeWork and liaise with VMS Account Managers to troubleshoot issues and ensure optimum performance

  • Lead and/or work on US and global CWP projects that aim to continuously improve user experience and ensure consistency in the Global CW Program 

  • Analyze and report on supplier and program performance metrics including SLAs and KPI’s to stakeholder audiences to increase awareness, understanding and adherence/adoption.

  • Oversee and facilitate the Statement of Work Process (SOW) future state, including supplier vetting, internal controls review, etc. 



What you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in contingent workforce program management experience, working as part of an MSP,  HR or Procurement team.

  • Experienced in managing complex contingent workforce solutions  in a global matrix

  • Ability to work and influence Managers across all levels within the organization; and engage key stakeholders to resolve issues or optimize the program

  • Program or System Implementation and/or change management experience strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of contingent worker classifications, local labor laws regarding 3rd party hires and familiar with relevant regulatory and industry requirements (where applicable

  • Self starter who can work with limited direction, critical thinker, problem solver, strong situational awareness

  • Highly ethical, accountable, reliable, who has strong work ethic
