About me

I am a graduate of International Hotel Management from Sheffield Hallam University. I recently returned from a years management work experience in the United States, where I gained management experience in food and beverage and hotels. I am currently a front office manager at a hotel in Bradford, but I am looking for a job somewhere further afield. I would like to use my international work experience to further my career in the hospitality world.

    I am responsible for making reservations in both the Leeds and Manchester hotels, doing daily checks, updating reservations, responding to guest enquiries and managing group reservations, including billing, accommodation, dining and event requirements. My role also relies heavily on selling packages, room upgrades and booking people in the bar and restaurant. As I am quite often the first point of contact for both hotels I am responsible for making an excellent first impressions, as well as providing guests with information and recommendations for the local areas. I also have gained more experience in customer service and problem solving. I have also gained more responsibilities since my manager left as I am solely responsible for all group and individual reservations in our Leeds hotel.
