My name is Elliott Murray and I wanted to share my years of experience in sales and guest service leadership with you for possible consideration. By trade, I am a certified opening task force consultant in hospitality sales and guest service training. I was certified by the Original Brand Westin Hotels when Westin was still headquartered in the state of Washington. My career began when I opened the Westin Hotel-Galleria Dallas in 1980. I hold the same certification from the Original Brand Ritz Carlton. I am the only active person in the US to hold this distinction. I have held regional and national positions as well in the limited service and conference center sector. There is one fact my certification and training has shown me. Regardless of cosmetics, model, or Brand name, the recipe to property level success is the delivery of consistent sales and guest service from year to year. I welcome the opportunity to be considered as a senior field leadership component on a teram. Titles mean little to me. Having been a sought-after national consultant for many years, typically I was not interested in employee situations. At this stage of my career, I am open to various options. My proven success and national exposure with all types of hotel directives would make me an ideal asset because of my approach to the lost nuances of sales and guest service being on the same page and the importance of mastering the "Art of Engagement". My niche' expertise and passion are being the boots on the ground and teaching by example outside the box marketing, sales, and relational concepts outside of the typical brands "Sales 101" mindset. I work with the staff and evaluate the entire reality of the hotel inside and outside of the walls. Most consider me a seasoned proven "Road Warrior". My experience has allowed me to be acknowledged by various Brands for numerous awards as a ground-breaking innovator in the "Actual" sales process of outside training and account acquisition. Thinking outside the box, galvanizing a sales environment, stealing market-share, and closing relationships to profit one or multiple hotel portfolios is my specialty. I am also the creator and owner of a copy write sales/marketing plan that provides a very distinct measurable revenue generation advantage over the comp set for a minimum of 12-24 months. Over the past few years, I have been a trouble shooter and training consultant for several multi resort ownership groups and various other multi location hotel management companies.
