Job Purpose

 

The Marketing Communications Manager is to be responsible for conceptualisation and executing Food and Beverage marketing plans, provides support to Talent and Culture as well as Sales and Catering Sales teams. The role also includes managing the Raffles Romance programme and developing collaterals to support Rooms division.

Primary Responsibilities

 

DRIVES PUBLIC RELATION CAMPAIGNS FOR F&B AND RAFFLES ROMANCE

 

•            Ensures good relations with global, regional and local media.

•            Manages publicity outreach programmes to support selected Food and Beverage outlets and their promotions, including festive offers.  

•            Manages and executes publicity plan for rooms, weddings and selected Food and Beverage venues, including seasonal promotions, key launches and media engagement activities.

•            Facilitates media hosting opportunities for rooms, weddings and selected Food and Beverage venues to drive continued awareness.

•            Ensures effective media coverage for rooms, weddings, selected Food and Beverage venues, spa and retail arcade.

 

DEVELOPS AND EXECUTES EFFECTIVE ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS FOR F&B AND WEDDINGS

 

•            Executes media plan for Rooms and Weddings in accordance with the hotel’s goals and objectives.

•            Develops creative artworks and text copy for rooms, weddings, selected Food and Beverage venues, spa and retail arcade, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

 

BE A GUARDIAN OF THE BRAND FOR COLLATERALS

 

•            Works closely with Sales and Event teams and develops collaterals to support hotel goals. 

•            Works closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage, Arcade and Spa to develop collaterals in line with brand guidelines.

•            Works closely with sales team to execute wedding programmes with marketing campaigns, promotions, collaterals and media buy plans to support revenue goals.

•            Oversees and executes photoshoots for rooms, weddings, selected Food and Beverage venues, spa and retail arcade.

 

DRIVES EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS / RELATIONS

 

•            Supports Talent and Culture to achieve their goals through internal communications and external outreach including media interviews, maintaining digital media awareness and award submissions.

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•            Be a leader to the Marketing Communications team.

•            Efficient management of budget in accordance with assigned projects.

•            Ensures accuracy for administrative and finance matters within the Marketing Communications team.

•            Effective coordination with internal departments to execute programmes.

•            Effective negotiation with media partners and suppliers to deliver objectives within budget.

•            Management of tasks to meet deadlines and campaigns objectives.

Profile

 

Knowledge and Experience

 

•            Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent.

•            Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Marketing Communications / Public Relations. Relevant experience in hospitality industry an advantage.

•            Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office.

•            Basic working knowledge of Adobe software

•            Oral fluency in English and Mandarin with written excellence in English. Ability to speak other language and / or basic understanding of other languages an advantage.
