Job Description
As a Pastry Sous Chef, you will assist in the preparation and production of a wide range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. The Pastry Sous Chef will help oversee the pastry team maintaining smooth operations, timely production, and consistency in quality. The person in this role is expected to uphold the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the pastry kitchen and workstations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume culinary establishment.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation standards.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities to effectively train and motivate pastry staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
