Job Description

Shuttle Bus Driver

At The Fairmont Chateau Whistler our Shuttle Bus Driver's ensure that our guests have a seamless and effortless trip to Whistler Village.  This position is an integral part of our winter operations and our Guest Services team.

What you will be doing:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Safely transport the hotel guests to and from the village
• Proper maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel shuttle bus
• Assist the Doors Attendants at the Front Door when not occupied
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience is an asset
• A valid Class 4 driver’s license is MANDATORY (A Class 4 Unrestricted license allows drivers to operate commercial vehicles including buses with a maximum seating capacity of 25 persons)
• A clean driving record is required
• The ability to drive standard transmission vehicles is mandatory
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of Whistler area or Chateau Whistler Resort would be an asset

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50+ lbs
• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps

Additional Information

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
