The Role of the Executive Chef
The Executive Chef facilitates the organization of the kitchen operation in accordance with our culinary partners, Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Chef Greg Vernick. The Executive Chef provides leadership and management for the culinary department by establishing efficient systems and processes to ensure that the standards as set forth by Four Seasons and culinary partners are adhered to.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
We are seeking individuals with proven success as a culinarian and solid experience as Executive Chef in a luxury hotel environment. The Executive Chef possesses a passion for cooking and eagerness to nurture and develop a team of devoted sous chefs and cooks. The Executive Chef is capable of controlling labor and operating expenses.
Qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate:
Solid communication and leadership skills
Passion for service
Strong interpersonal and team player skills
Highest level of integrity and work ethic
